Constellation is very much a collective undertaking. The work the organizing collective does to take care of the planning and logistics for the festival is just one small part of the picture. Anarchists from Montreal and elsewhere make the festival possible by facilitating workshops, hosting events, organizing activities, and so many other things! We want to do more to encourage and support this dynamic.

This year, we’re offering small grants to help cover the costs associated with organizing events and activities as part of Constellation 2026. These grants can be used to contribute to any costs related to something being planned as part of the “official” festival schedule (e.g., workshops, children’s programming, Skill Faire tables, etc.) as well as autonomous events submitted to the online calendar.

The suggested request range for this grant is $50–$100, which is intended to cover focused, near-term needs such as materials. Have bigger ambitions? We encourage you to request more if that’s what it takes to make your event or activity possible.

NOTE: For logistical purposes, funding will be provided in cash at the welcome table at CÉDA on May 16th or 17th. If you need it beforehand, please specify this in your application and we will reach out to arrange an alternative.
